Dr. Robert W. Turner II is a former professional football player and Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Research and Leadership at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Science. In this interview, Dr. Turner shared about his journey toward taking on innovative community-focused sleep research, including a new collaboration with Project Sleep & Dr. Michael Grandner to better understand Black Americans’ perspectives on sleep and sleep disorders to improve future awareness efforts.
